Financial Policy

Cancellation

Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. In fairness to our practitioners, staff and other clients we require 24 hours notice when it is necessary to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Patients that miss their appointment or give less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full cost of the treatment. Insurance does not cover fees incurred by missed appointments.

Late

In order to respect the time of all of our clients, a patient more than 15 minutes late will be seen as a no-show unless we have been notified ahead of time. Late appointments will end at the originally scheduled time.

Payment

We accept cash, personal checks* and credit cards. Also, any insurance checks you might receive are to be paid to our office within 15 days of receipt. *Please note all returned checks are subject to a $25 service charge.

Acupuncture, herbs, supplements and massage may qualify as expenses for most FSAs, HSAs and HRAs. Please ask for a receipt at each visit.

Insurance

Not all insurance plans cover our services, if it is your understanding that you have coverage, please call ahead or bring in your insurance information. We can verify your coverage for you. Until insurance verification is complete, we require full payment at the time of service. You will be reimbursed accordingly when your insurance company remits payment for billed services. If we are billing your insurance company we still hold a credit card on file to cover payment for copays, coinsurance and appointment costs when deductibles have not been met. Insurance does not cover fees incurred by missed appointments. Missed or canceled appointments with less than 24 hours notice will be charged to your credit card on file or billed to you at the treatment rate posted on our website. Please note that any insurance checks you might receive are to be paid to our office within 15 days of receipt.

Patients who show inappropriate conduct, non-or late payment of fees, or safety concerns may be denied treatment.
